Columbus Mystery Theatre hold
auditions by appointment only and if you are interested you
should call 706-718-7494 to schedule one.
Requirements are:
* A memorized 1 minute comedic monologue
* Be prepared to do cold readings and light improvisational
games
* Bring a headshot and resume if you have them
Becoming a Columbus Mystery Player is a demanding but
rewarding experience. The successful auditionee will have
these qualities and be able to perform these duties:
* Be able to think fast on their feet
* Be able to interact with the audience in a positive and
charming, comedic manner
* Be able to advance the story line and plot of the show
regardless of the size or energy of the crowd
* Be available to perform every Friday and Saturday night
during an 8 to 10 week run including holidays
* Be a theatre professional in all things
* Be able to perform a variety of dialects and characters
* 21 years old minimum requirement
We are looking for bright, energetic, and mature
individuals with a flair for comedy and the ability to
quickly change characters throughout a show and enjoy
